The concentration of industries in a certain area is influenced by factors such as policies, infrastructure, markets, and the resulting impact. However, the increase in the number of industries in West Java is inversely proportional to the economic growth of the industrial sector, which is declining. This indicates that the concentration of industries in West Java is driven by several factors. This study also analyzes the effect of Gross Regional Domestic Product, Human Development Index, labor force participation rate, minimum wage, and infrastructure on industrial agglomeration in West Java. The data used in this study is panel data from 26 regencies/cities over a period of 5 years, from 2017 to 2021. This type of research is quantitative. The method used in this study is linear regression with a Random Effects model. The results show that the Gross Regional Domestic Product and Human Development Index do not affect industrial agglomeration. The labor force participation rate has a positive effect on industrial agglomeration. The regional minimum wage and infrastructure have a significantly negative effect on industrial agglomeration. The research sample includes financial reports of companies in this sector during the period of 2013-2023. The influence of these changes is tested using the Difference in Difference (DID) analysis technique within a regression model. The research findings indicate no significant difference in stock price changes between the affected (Treated) and control groups before the cessation of the Meikarta project (p-value = 0.139 > 0.05). Furthermore, the difference in stock price changes between the two groups before the project cessation is also not significant (p-value = 0.287 > 0.05). The Diff-in-Diff analysis results suggest that stock price changes after the cessation of the Meikarta project do not differ significantly between the two groups, with a p-value of 0.442 (p-value > 0.05). Therefore, it can be concluded that the Meikarta project halt does not have a significant impact on stock price changes between the two groups. These additional analysis results reinforce the hypothesis testing of the Difference in Difference (DID) analysis with the regression model. Unemployment is measured using the Open Unemployment Rate (TPT). The Barlingmascakeb region tends to have a higher average annual Open Unemployment Rate than the Central Java Open Unemployment Rate. This can have an impact on economic and social problems. This study aims to analyze the influence of population, Regency/City minimum wage (UMK), inflation, and literacy rate on the open unemployment rate (TPT) in the Barlingmascakeb region. This type of research is a quantitative research using secondary data, namely data on population variables, Regency/City Minimum Wage (UMK), inflation and literacy rate, Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) on an annual basis from 2007 - 2022 and in five regencies namely the Barlingmascakeb Region (Banjarnegara, Purbalingga, Banyumas, Cilacap and Kebumen). The research method used is panel data regression analysis. The results showed that the population variable has a positive and significant effect on TPT, the UMK variable has a negative and significant effect on TPT, the inflation variable has a negative and significant effect on TPT and the literacy rate has no effect on TPT. The implication of the results of this study is that an increase in population can increase the Open Unemployment Rate (TPT), so in this case, the government needs to control the population with programs that can overcome this problem. The increase in the Regency/City Minimum Wage (UMK) can reduce the Open Unemployment Rate (TPT), so it is expected that the government makes a minimum wage policy based on economic conditions. Behavioural researchers have conducted numerous studies on environmental issues. The commonly used theory of Behaviour is one that predicts ongoing intentions and Behaviours. However, existing research is still predominantly focused on the internal aspects of Behaviour, while the external aspects of Behaviour are given less attention. Therefore, the general aim of this research is to elucidate the integration of social cognitive theory and the method employed in this study is literature review. The Social Capital Theory is used to measure sustainable production and consumption Behaviour in the coffee sector. The integration of these two theories accommodates both the internal and external aspects of an individual's Behaviour, particularly for coffee farmers as producers and coffee consumers. The coffee sector is important to study given that coffee is a very vulnerable context in terms of sustainability aspects. According to structuralist theory, inflation is essential for economic growth and where there is high economic growth, it is an inevitable economic phenomena where there is always a high inflation. They both go together hand in hand and they influence each other as they always move at the parallel phase. However on the other hand, monetarist theory see inflation as a detrimental factor to economic growth. As such, depending on type inflation accelleration and natures of their causes, they bear different degrees of impacts on economic growth. The impacts are many layered either positive or negative. Thus this study has been done to crtically assess the determinants that add value to economic growth and their impact on PNG economy. In order to assess the impacts and to find out the results accordingly, the study has utilized the regression model to analyze the data. The data used in this study are obtained from Central Bank, World Bank, UN data and National Statistical Office of PNG from 1977 to 2021. The results otained from regression model has shown that the partial effect of GDP is inelastic because increase in output is less than increase in input. This reveals that the impact of inflation on GDP growth from demand side is greater than supply side meaning, the sensitivity of inflation to change in economic growth is greater than other variables in the model. Therefore study concludes that inflation greatly influence GDP growth and has positive impact on economic growth of Papu New Guinea followed by employment and capital formation as shown by the results .

Keywords: Economic growth, inflation, capital formation, employment.
2024-07-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Proceeding of Midyear International Conferencehttp://jp.feb.unsoed.ac.id/index.php/myc/article/view/4635Analysis Of The Influence Of Poverty, Education, Per Capita Income And Sanitation On Stunting In Indonesia2024-08-27T22:55:12+00:00Intihatun Munawarohintiefawwaz@gmail.comAbdul Aziz Ahmadintiefawwaz@gmail.com
The study aims to analyze the impact of poverty, education, per capita income and sanitation on stunting in Indonesia. Fiscal independence is measured through the ratio of Regional Original Revenue (PAD) to total regional revenue, which is the main indicator to assess the ability of regions to manage their finances and expenditures independently without relying on the central government. The data analyzed in this study is secondary data consisting of including the realization of the Banyumas Regency APBD FY 2013-2022 and the ADHK GRDP of Banyumas Regency Fiscal Years 2013 to 2022, with a quantitative descriptive analysis method. The results showed (1) There was a significant increase in PAD with an average increase of Rp 605,647,266.4 or 10% per year. (2) The Fiscal Decentralization Ratio shows an average of 19.91% during FY 2013-2022, which means that the regional financial capacity is still lacking. (3) The average regional financial dependency ratio during FY 2013-2022 was 57.88% (quite large category), which means that Banyumas Regency still depends on the central and regional governments. (4) The regional independence ratio shows a result of 34.64% (in the consultative and low category) which indicates that Banyumas Regency has been slightly able to carry out regional autonomy. (5) The Banyumas Regency Regional Government has optimized the use and management of existing resources in the region in order to increase PAD based on the results of the PAD effectiveness analysis in the period FY 2013-FY 2022 of 116.53% (falling into the effective category).

Keywords: Fiscal Decentralization, Fiscal Independence, Regional Original Revenue
2024-07-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Proceeding of Midyear International Conferencehttp://jp.feb.unsoed.ac.id/index.php/myc/article/view/4638Post-Pandemic Community Empowerment Through Military Operations Other Than War (Pentahelix Perspective Study)2024-08-27T22:55:12+00:00M. The digital era learning model utilizes technology as a learning media, providing students with broader access and opportunities to build their knowledge. The utilization of technology in education allows lecturers to plan and implement innovative and interactive learning models. This qualitative study utilizes the systematic literature review (SLR) technique to review and analyze research results on the same topic systematically. The complexity of people's living conditions in the era of Society 5.0 makes it not enough for students to have literacy and numeracy skills but also the ability to communicate, be creative, think critically, and collaborate. To achieve this, we need learning media standards that are relevant to Society 5.0, such as adaptive, innovative, personalized, flexible, and integrated with various innovative devices such as IoT, big data, and AI. In addition, it is supported by providing opportunities for students to interact with technology to support learning activities through attractive learning media.

Keywords: Learning Media, Society 5.0, Technology, Higher Education
2024-07-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Proceeding of Midyear International Conferencehttp://jp.feb.unsoed.ac.id/index.php/myc/article/view/4646The Importance Of Pedagogic Competency For Non-Educational Lecturers2024-08-27T22:55:12+00:00Viviana Mayasariviviana.mayasari@unsoed.ac.idDevani Laksmi Indyastutidevani.indyastuti@unsoed.ac.idDaryono Daryonodaryono1210@unsoed.ac.id
The educational backgrounds of higher education lecturers have become increasingly varied. According to Keynesian economics, higher government expenditure leads to higher economic growth. However, in Indonesia, the 10 provinces with the highest regional expenditures are not among the 10 provinces with the highest economic growth rates. This study aims to analyze the effect of regional expenditure, namely operational expenditure, capital expenditure, and transfer expenditure, on economic growth in 34 provinces in Indonesia from 2015 to 2022, with central government transfers as a control variable. The study utilizes secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and employs panel data regression as the analytical tool. The findings revealed that capital expenditure and transfer expenditure had a positive and significant effect on economic growth in the 34 provinces in Indonesia from 2015 to 2022. On the other hand, operational expenditure and central government transfers had a positive but insignificant effect on economic growth in the 34 provinces in Indonesia from 2015 to 2022. The implications of these findings suggest that the government needs to evaluate the allocation of operational expenditure and central government transfers to ensure that expenditure allocations are targeted and effective in achieving their goals. Additionally, regional governments can reduce the allocation of funds in operational expenditure if deemed wasteful, allowing more funds to be allocated for capital expenditure and transfer expenditure, which have a positive and significant effect on economic growth.

Keywords: Economic Growth, Operational Expenditure, Capital Expenditure, Transfer Expenditure, Central Government Transfer
2024-07-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Proceeding of Midyear International Conferencehttp://jp.feb.unsoed.ac.id/index.php/myc/article/view/4657Cash Demand Sensitivity Analysis: Estimating Post-Tax Amnesty Shadow Economy In Indonesia2024-08-27T22:55:12+00:00Pidah Febriyantiherman.sambodo@unsoed.ac.idHerman Sambodoherman.sambodo@unsoed.ac.idArintoko Arintokoherman.sambodo@unsoed.ac.idMeilena Sarmilasariherman.sambodo@unsoed.ac.id
In recent years, tax revenue targets in Indonesia consistently does not reach the target that has been set, largely due to the extensive shadow economy activities aimed at tax evasion. This study aims to measure the sensitivity of cash demand as a method for estimating the shadow economy across 34 provinces in Indonesia during the post-tax amnesty period from 2016 to 2022, and to evaluate its impact on potential tax losses. The methodology employed in this research is quantitative analysis with a panel data regression approach, estimated using the Random Effect Model. The shadow economy is measured using a monetary approach model, based on the sensitivity of demand for cash. The dependent variables in this study are the total demand for currency and potential taxes, while the independent variables include tax burden, inflation rate, Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), financial and technological innovation represented by the use of the internet for financial purposes, and the shadow economy. The results indicate that tax burden, inflation, and financial and technological innovations do not affect cash demand, while income has a significant positive impact on cash demand. Furthermore, the shadow economy is shown to significantly impact potential tax losses. The study shows that in 34 provinces of Indonesia, the shadow economy averages IDR 292.152 billion with an average potential tax loss of IDR 35.306 billion.

Keywords: Shadow Economy, Tax Amnesty, Cash Demand, Tax, Monetary Approach Model
2024-07-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Proceeding of Midyear International Conferencehttp://jp.feb.unsoed.ac.id/index.php/myc/article/view/4658Local Tax Impact In Central Java’s Local Revenue: Per Capita Income Moderation2024-08-27T22:55:12+00:00Qonita Qurota A’yunqurota.ayun@mhs.unsoed.ac.idUswatun Hasanahqurota.ayun@mhs.unsoed.ac.idWarsidi Warsidiqurota.ayun@mhs.unsoed.ac.idHasan Fauziqurota.ayun@mhs.unsoed.ac.id
This research aims to analyze the impact of entertainment tax, hotel tax, and restaurant tax on locally generated revenue with per capita income as a moderating variable. The primary objective is to assess the impact of interregional interactions on economic growth through four main channels: (a) knowledge spillover, (b) industry spillover, (c) private investment spillover, and (d) government expenditure spillover. The research sample comprises 35 districts/cities in Central Java, covering the period from 2018 to 2023. Spatial panel regression analysis is employed to analyze the data. Among the panel data models considered, the Random Effect Model is identified as the most suitable. Spatial analysis is also conducted to explore correlations related to the geographical layout between regions. The findings, based on the Spatial Durbin Model Random Effect, indicate that knowledge spillover, industry spillover, private investment spillover, and government expenditure spillover have a positive impact on economic growth. Additionally, these spillover effects exhibit spatial autocorrelation, suggesting that the economic growth of a district or city is significantly influenced by the economic activities in neighboring regions. Although this system offers high potential, such as optimal land utilization, increased income, and environmental sustainability, its application in Panembangan Village is still minimal. This study aims to determine the comparison of production and net income of farmers before and after the implementation of the rice mina farming system in Panembangan Village. The research method used in this study is descriptive quantitative method with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires and interviews to rice mina farmers in the village. The number of samples that became respondents as many as 30 rice mina farmers in Panembangan Village. The data obtained were analyzed using shapiro wilk normality test and wilcoxon signed ranks test. The results showed that the average rice production before rice mina was only 1,652.23 kg/growing season, while after rice mina it increased to 1,794 kg/growing season. In addition, there was an additional fish production of 255.87 kg/growing season. Then, before implementing rice mina, the average net income of farmers per growing season was only Rp8,850,116. However, after rice mina was implemented, farmers' net income increased significantly to Rp14,872,036 per growing season. The results of this study show that rice mina is able to improve the welfare of farmers in Panembangan Village. The implications of these findings suggest that farmers should further strengthen cooperation among rice mina farmers in the cultivation process in order to continue to increase production yields and net income of Panembangan Village farmers. Therefore, there are important implications in this study for government policies, such as establishing a wage policy that pays attention to wage growth in the past year, increasing investment in the education sector, especially for women, developing facilities and services.

Keywords: female labor force participation rate, women, fixed effect model
2024-07-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Proceeding of Midyear International Conferencehttp://jp.feb.unsoed.ac.id/index.php/myc/article/view/4709Changes In Audit Opinions And Internal Conditions Of Regional Government: During The Covid Pandemic2024-08-28T00:24:57+00:00Aminah Aminahaminah@ubl.ac.idHerlina Sri Astutiaminah@ubl.ac.idHenny Murtiniaminah@ubl.ac.idHaninun Haninunaminah@ubl.ac.id
The audit opinions for local governments in 2021-2022 show that some regencies/cities experienced a downgrade in audit opinions from the previous year. This study seeks to empirically investigate how internal factors within local governments affect changes in audit opinions. The population of this research is 514 districts or cities. The data analysis techniques used include logistic regression analysis. The study results indicate that neither the effectiveness ratio nor the efficiency ratio influences changes in audit opinions. However, the level of wealth in local government and weaknesses in the internal control system (ICS) have a significant negative impact. Regencies/cities with increasing levels of local government wealth may experience a downgrade in audit opinions. Recommendations linked to this study propose that local authorities should further explore their potential and manage it optimally for the welfare of the community while being transparent and accountable.

Keywords: Change in Audit Opinion, Local Government, Internal Control System
2024-07-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Proceeding of Midyear International Conferencehttp://jp.feb.unsoed.ac.id/index.php/myc/article/view/4710The Influence Of Implementation Of Gcg And Csr Disclosure On Company Value With Profitability As A Moderating Variable2024-08-28T00:39:47+00:00Angger Wahyudiangger.wahyudi@mhs.unsoed.ac.idEkaningtyas Widiastutiwidtyas@gmail.comAry Yunantowidtyas@gmail.comGuntur Supriyantowidtyas@gmail.com
High value of a company indicates that the firm can ensure weal for stockholder as owners of the firm. This study investigates the impact of Good Corporate Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility disclosure on company value, added by profitability as a moderating variable. Utilizing quantitative research methods, the study analyzes secondary data from financial, annual, and sustainability reports from 2020-2022, sourced from company websites and the Indonesian Stock Exchange. Using purposive sampling, 54 samples were collected. Using SPSS 25 the data was processed using the moderated regression analysis method. The findings reveal that gender diversity in the board of directors, the proportion of independent commissioners, and CSR positively and significantly effect company value, while institutional and managerial ownership have a negative impact. This research analyzed the influence of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and other variables on companies' share prices in the oil palm plantation sub-sector. The research started in 2019 to 2023. This type of research was causal research, with the dependent variable being stock prices and 5 independent variables. The first three independent variables were CSR components: Economic CSR Disclosure, Environmental CSR Disclosure, and Social CSR Disclosure. Company Performance/Return on Assets (ROA) and Company Size (SIZE) were the following variables. The analysis tool in this research uses SEM-PLS. This is because the data are not normal. The research results show that only the Company Size (SIZE) variable negatively influences the share prices of palm oil companies listed on the IDX. This means that investors do not yet view CSR and ROA as determining factors in share prices.

Keywords: CSR, Economic CSR Disclosure, Environmental CSR Disclosure, Social CSR Disclosure, Stock Price
2024-07-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Proceeding of Midyear International Conferencehttp://jp.feb.unsoed.ac.id/index.php/myc/article/view/4712The Effect Of Local Taxes And Balancing Funds On The Level Of Community Welfare2024-08-28T21:18:52+00:00Devika Devikadevika@mhs.unsoed.ac.idWarsidi Warsididevika@mhs.unsoed.ac.idUswatun Hasanahdevika@mhs.unsoed.ac.idNur Azizahdevika@mhs.unsoed.ac.id
This study examines the impact of local taxes and balancing funds on community welfare in Indonesia for 2022-2023 using agency theory. Additionally, inclusive economic development in each province in Indonesia also experiences disparities. The purpose of this research is to examine the extent of the influence of average years of schooling, the recipients of the Program Indonesia Pintar, the recipients of the BPJS assistance program, life expectancy, and the gender development index on inclusive economic development in Indonesia from 2018 to 2021. This study was conducted in 34 provinces in Indonesia, using secondary data and panel data regression analysis. The research results indicate that the average length of schooling, life expectancy, and gender development index statistically have a positive and significant impact on inclusive economic development, while recipients of the Program Indonesia Pintar and recipients of the BPJS PBI program statistically do not significantly affect inclusive economic development. Despite having the highest number of PKH beneficiary families, some provinces fail to rank among those with the highest Human Development Index (HDI). This study aims to analyze the partial and simultaneous effects of PKH expenditures on education, health, and social welfare on improving the quality of human resources in the 10 provinces with the highest HDI. This study employed a quantitative approach. The study utilized secondary data from the official websites of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance (DJPK) of the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos). Data analysis is conducted using panel data regression analysis involving the 10 provinces with the highest HDI from 2018 to 2022, assisted by Eviews 10 software. The findings revealed that simultaneously, PKH expenditures on education, health, and social welfare have a positive and significant effect on HDI in Indonesia. Partially, PKH expenditure on education and health has a positive and significant effect on HDI, while the expenditure on social welfare has no significant effect on HDI.
