PENGARUH INSENTIF MONETER DAN NON-MONETER TERHADAP KINERJA INDIVIDUAL PERAN ORIENTASI INDIVIDU TERHADAP UANG

Abstract


This study has two objectives: 1) filling the research gap of financial and non-financial
incentives on individual performance; 2) provides money orientation variable as input to
answer the gap of incentive research. Data analysis was done by performing t-test
independent sample. The sample of research was collected from Student of Faculty
Economics and Business UNSOED, data generated was done by Laboratory Experimental.
The 2x1 experimental design between subjects with total of 52 participants divided into 4
cells. The results show that participants with low money orientation have higher
performance when given non-monetary incentives than when given monetary incentives. The
variations of result on incentive research of individual performance was found has been
explained by providing money orientation as a variable. This study addresses the problems
of previous researches that have not considered the money orientation as variable that can
affect individual performance.
