PENDEKATAN ONE VILLAGE ONE PRODUCT (OVOP) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KREATIVITAS UMKM DAN KESEJAHTERAAN MASYARAKAT

Abstract


One Village One Product (OVOP) is a regional development program approach that aims to promote the economic and community welfare. OVOP program started in 2008 through the Ministry of industry and the year 2010 through the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs that aims to improve industrial potency or small and medium enterprises in Indonesia, including Surakarta with batik potency and waste recycling craft. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of OVOP in Surakarta which had started in 2012 and make recommendations for stakeholders and regional governments. In addition, the importance of Government consistency and the participation of Micro Small Medium Enterprises (UMKM) in Implementing and monitoring the program also should paid attentions of providing human resources, raw materials and capital, institutional and business network, processing technology, packing, brand and product marketing. Finally, OVOP program is expected to increase micro small medium enterprises (UMKM) creativity and Community welfare.
