Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze the effect of the implementation of deposit insurance system (DIS), bank size, and leverage on bank risk taking behavior. The object of research was the population of Indonesian State Owned Banks for the period 2001-2014 which was divided into blanket and limited guarantee period. The research conducted in panel data analysis using the fixed effect model approach. The result shows that blanket guarantee system, bank size, and leverage have partition effect on bank risk taking behavior. Keywords: Deposit Insurance Sistem, Bank Risk Taking, Panel Data Analysis
