ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVATION TRAINING (AMT) DALAM UPAYA PENUMBUHAN JIWA KEWIRAUSAHAAN SISWA SMK

Abstract


The current global market competition requires each region to develop the economy through SMEs. Vocational High School (SMK) is one of the appropriate target that plays a major role in the emergence of the young entrepreneurs (SMEs) in the region. Thus, equip students with entrepreneurial knowledge and expertise related to the areas of interest becomes important things that need to be followed up.
Activities that we did on this occasion tried to provide follow-up on the importance of knowledge about entrepreneurship. The activities are in the form of training and learning about entrepreneurship for vocational students by involving our two partners, namely SMKN 1 and SMKN 3 Purwokerto. The goal in these activities are the increased understanding, knowledge of entrepreneurship and increase the motivation and the skills and confidence of students as a new entrepreneur after they finish school.
Our training activities using the AMT (Achievement Motivation Training) method, experiential learning methods, success and failure story and business plan practicum. Activities have been running smoothly. The enthusiasm of the trainees is very good, it is evident from the many questions from participants about the training materials and increased understanding of entrepreneurship and motivation of the participants. Assessment of business plan proposals made by participants of the training has been done and for the best four team, we give the reward and assistance to set up their business.
