Abstract

Workplace spirituality is a condition that insists on the establishment of a value system, regardless of the experience of transcendence and implies how far individuals are motivated to find meaning and purpose of existence is sacred in the workplace. SMEs leaders should be able to seek the creation of workplace spirituality, given the importance of workplace spirituality to the aggregate performance of SMEs. Leaders of SMEs must be a leader of authentic, the leader is able to create conditions of high trust employees to the leader and his organization, helps employees build the strength that they have, to be more positive, to have the broadest sense, add value and sense of what is right for their decisions, and improve organizational performance. Entrepreneurs who demonstrate authentic leadership better prepared to face the challenges commonly faced by new business venture, has a positive impact on employees in doing the job, and realizing the full potential of their vision. When the owner or small business leader is an authentic leader that encourages the creation of workplace spirituality, thus increasing employee performance and aggregate a positive effect on the performance of SMEs.
