PENGARUH SOLVABILITAS, RENTABILITAS DAN LIKUIDITAS TERHADAP KONTINUITAS USAHA (Studi Pada Umkm Kuliner 212 Kota Batam)
Abstract
The aim of this research is to examine the influance of Solvability, Rentability, and Liquidity
towards business continuity at Cullinary 212 SMEs in Batam within 2014-2016. The type of
this research is quantitative research using survey method. The population in this research is
SMEs in Batam. The selection ofsample using purposive sampling method, with the amount 20
SMEs. In this research using primary data. Data collection techniques is interviewing the SMEs
owner. The analytical method used in this research is panel regression analysis.
The research shows solvability, rentability, and liquidity simultaneously, positively and
significantly influence towards business continuity, solvability has negative and significant
influence towards business continuity, while rentability has positive and significant influence
towards business continuity, and liquidity has positive and significant influence towards
business continuity. The result of adjusted R square examination shows that solvability,
rentability, and liquidity influence SMEs business continuity 58,6% while the remaining 41,4%
is explained by factors that not examined such as solidity and feasibility.
As the implication of this research, in order to keep the business continuity can be done by
increasing the profit (by pushing down the operational expense) and using alternative equity
sources (People Business Credit Program). The increase of profit can increase the equity as
well. The increase of equity that higher than the liability showed that the business has a good
solvability. A good solvability indicate that the business won’t be liquidated and can keep the
business continuity going on.
