ANALISIS SALURAN DISTRIBUSI GAS ELPIJI 3 KG SERTA DAMPAKNYA TERHADAP HARGA PADA TINGKAT KONSUMEN AKHIR (Studi Kasus Kota Palembang)
Abstract
3 kg LPG gas is a product of Pertamina's PSO aimed at the poor and small entrepreneurs.
In its sales Pertamina established a distribution system from agent to final consumer with
the highest retail price determined (HET). But in reality the consumer does not accept the
price in accordance with the HET which has been determined by Pertamina.
The purpose of this research is to analyze the 3 kg LPG gas distribution channel and its
impact on price at the end consumer level.
This research uses qualitative method where to obtain data in can from informant and
obsevasi field. Further data collected and analyzed to get the desired result.
Based on the results of research in the can be that there are at least some actors in the
distribution ofLPG are agents, bases, first-rate retailers and second-rate retailers. The price
formed at the consumer level causes a considerable difference from the highest retail price
(HET) that has been determined by Pertamina. This is due to at least some of the factors
such as the short length of distribution channels formed, the operating costs incurred at the
retailer level and the relatively high profit taking from bases and retailers.
