THE INFLUENCE OF EXCELLENT SERVICE TOWARDS STUDENT GRADUATE SATISFACTION AT MANAGEMENT STUDY PROGRAM IN ECONOMIC FACULTY OF OPEN UNIVERSITY

Abstract


Open University (UT) is the first university that using distance learning systems.
Therefore, some important aspects that must be possessed by students in this
learning system are the desire and ability to learn independently, and then
motivation to progress and develop. Open University (UT) needs to provide
excellent service to support and motivate the student. Based on the existing
problems, the purpose of this study were to analyze the affect of excellent service
toward the satisfaction of a student graduate at Management Study Program in
Economic Faculty of Open University. This study used Crosstabs analysis and
Rank Spearman correlation analysis. From the analysis showed that excellent
service significantly affect student satisfaction. Correlation analysis showed that
service excellence provides an indication that the increase in distance learning
service should be oriented to achieve student satisfaction.
