KOMUNIKASI DAN KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL SEBAGAI KUNCI SUKSES MENGENDALIKAN REAKTANSI PSIKOLOGIS ATAS PERUBAHAN ORGANISASI
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to investigate the relationship of organizational communications, the effect of employee emotional intelligence and the role of affect was explored within the framework of psychological reactance theory to organizational change in Indonesia. Additionally, the roles that communications and emotional intelligence play in lowering the activation of reactance were examined. This is a conceptual paper that connects self-determination, reactance, organizational change, and emotional intelligence and communications literatures to explain how psychological reactance may be energized and de-energized in the context of on-going organizational change. It was found that organizational communications positively influenced employee’s reactance psychologies to organizational change with employees’ emotional intelligence moderating the relationship.
