PENGARUH NET PROFIT MARGIN DAN PENDAPATAN RETURN ON EQUITY ASSET PADA HARGA SAHAM PERUSAHAAN YANG TERCATAT DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA

Abstract

This study is performed to examine the effect of Net Profit Margin, Return On Asset and Return On Equity toward Stock Price in industry companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange over period 2009 – 2011. The population of this research is 37 industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange over period 2009 – 2011. The data is obtained based on corporate finance reporting that at publication. It is gained sample amount of 24 companies from 37 companies those are classifed in industry companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analysis technique used here is multiple linear regression and hypothesis test using t-statistic and F-statistic with level of significance 5%. This research results that in a parcial manner NPM and ROA are not significantly positive effect on stock price. The other variabel which is ROE gives significantly positive effect on stock price. Whereas, in a simultan manner NPM, ROA and ROE are significant on stock price. We suggest for the companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange to improve financial performance and the performance of management companies every year so that investors perception of the company’s prospects for future performance can be good maintained.
