PEMBERDAYAAN PRODUKSI KERAJINAN LOGAM DI KECAMATAN CEPOGO BOYOLALI MENUJU PASAR EKSPOR

Abstract

This community service aims to empower the Small and Medium Enterprises of metal handicraft in Cepogo. The activities that we performs are conducting training and management assistance which is intended to improve the knowledge of craftsmen, with the expectation that it will in turn increase craftsmen’s revenues.
The trainings we have conducted are training on technology system and website usage using computer, the practice to get overseas buyer, on line based marketing for global market, and introduction with exporters.
The results that we monitor show the improvement, especially in the ability of online marketing. The Head of Sub National Export Development in the Ministry of Trade in Jakarta, stated that the export of copper handicraft has not registered in the Ministry of Trade, thus the craftsmen need to register their business, with the note that they should have a business entity.
