PENERAPAN ILMU MANAJEMEN DALAM PENGELOLAAN KEGIATAN USAHA MASYARAKAT DI DESA WANGON KECAMATAN WANGON KABUPATEN BANYUMAS

Abstract

Management science is a branch of economics that is very much needed in the effort to manage all business activities. Management is a science that consists ofa process to achieve goals through others. Activities undertaken in an effort to improve the welfare of rural communities is through counseling on science. Counseling was conducted to Wangon village community of Wangon District of Banyumas Regency about the benefits ofapplying management science to improve the welfare of the community through the management of rural community business activities. Counseling is done by using lecture methods and interviews so that the target of the counseling can hit directly about the science of management to the community. Management functions such as Planning, Organizing, Actuating and Controling are applied in the management of rural community business activities in an effort to improve the performance of rural enterprises and the welfare of the people. The success of the extension activities on management science as the management of business activities is strongly supported by the village government in the hope that the level of welfare of the community is increasing and the standard of living of the community also increases.
