Abstract


Technological progress in communication that develops through the medium of virtual space or social media. Communication through social media can be called Computer Mediated Communication. CMC forms like Facebook, Instagram and others, are known as online social media.

Social media as a means of communication is not limited by distance and time. Social media users also make use of buying and selling activities carried out by some users. In using social media for buying and selling activities, many users use media applications, especially Instagram. Instagram is one of the online applications used to do business on social media. sellers who do business in online applications such as Instagram, are expected to pay attention to ethics in promoting application users. In business activities on social media, of course must have ethics.

Ethics in business activities on social media so that business competition is healthy with each other, business ethics in applying the principles of business ethics to study and solve complex moral problems.
