PETA POTENSI EKONOMI KOMODITAS HORTIKULTURA DI KABUPATEN BANYUMAS

Abstract

Kinds of farm products which potential to cultivate in regional development are horticulture commodities. It is known that horticultures have some superior than other farm commodities. To cultivate them in Banyumas Regency, it needs commodities mapping. The mapping used to detect the spread of cultivated commodities which potential to develop. The mapping shows that in Banyumas regency, fruits tends more cultivated than vegetables commodities. It was seen from the diversity of fruit cultivation. Many fruits commodities can be found out in every sub district in Banyumas regency, beside they grow positively. Star fruit, pineapple, rambutan, sawo, papaya, durian, soursop fruit, balinese-pamelo, jengkol, duku, orange, jackfruit, mango, banana, guava, avocado, and also salak are kind of fruits which have higher potency to develop than other fruits. While some kinds of vegetables commodities spread in every sub district but many of them grow decline. A few vegetables which higher potency to develop than other vegetables are chili, tomato, mushroom, cucumber, spinach and oyong.
