STRATEGI DAN LANGKAH-LANGKAH UMKM DALAM MENGHADAPI MASYARAKAT EKONOMI ASEAN (MEA) 2015

Abstract

To achieving the goal of ASEAN for strengthen the economic and social stability in the region is the implementation of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) 2015. In fact, before the implementing MEA, SMEs have faced many challenges, both of internally and environmentally. The environment condition is called as SMEs business climate conceptually determined by government’s policy. The policy will provide directions and strategies of economic development. Internal problem within SMEs is more highlighted by the initial condition of SMEs, such as low quality of human resources, limited ownership of productive resources in the form of assets, limited working capital and limited of marketing product. Readiness of MSMEs to face the MEA requires supports from all stakeholders including government and MSMEs’ Asssociation, because the MEA is a global issue that needs to be handled together between government and entrepreneurs.
