Abstract

The aim of this article is to study the synergies between Local Economic Development (LED) policy and rural development to increase the competitiveness in the village. The synergies of Local Economic Development (LED) policy and rural development can be strategy policy to support regional development include of village competitiveness. Implementation of this synergy can be achieved through institutional engineering of economic cluster and partnership forum. The basic that needs to be done in terms of the Local Economic Development (LED) and rural development to increase the competitiveness of the village is the preparation of the roadmap strategy, facilitating, participating, monitoring dan activity evaluation. The synergies of Local Economic Development (LED) policy and rural development to increase the competitiveness of the village can be run effectively and efficiently if the implementation is based on the locally democratic principle.
