PERAN PERGURUAN TINGGI DALAM MENCIPTAKAN KUALITAS SDM PADA SEKTOR KUKM (STUDI PADA UNIVERSITAS BUNDA MULIA, JAKARTA)

Abstract

The role of a university in increasing the SMEs is considered very important. It focuses on how the knowledge being transferred to the society in which has become one of the three dedications of a university. The knowledge implementation hopefully could increase the competitiveness in the SMEs. According to the data taken from The Ministry of Cooperation and SMEs, it showed that the total of small-medium enterprises have reached to 52,76 millions unit or around 99,67% from the existed total units. However the low quality in the human resource has become the main issued in the field. Therefore this issue should be considered seriously since UMKM is holding a strategic position in the economy of Indonesia. Furthermore the following paper will discuss about how a university could create a quality human resource relating to the SMEs development.
