ANALISIS EFISIENSI PERBANKAN SYARIAH DI INDONESIA
Abstract
The purpose of this study is as a basis for policy making parties concerned, especially Bank Indonesia and Islamic Banks in Indonesia on assessment performance, especially from the aspect of efficiency. Efficiency as a description of the management of its resources to be channeled into the best possible output. Research was conducted on Islamic Banks in Indonesia from 2007 to 2015 with annual data. The research method used to analyze the efficiency of which is a nonparametric approach Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). Tools used are Maxdea Version 6.6. The results showed that most Islamic banks have not been efficient. As for Islamic Banks experiencing technically efficient namely BRI Syariah in 2007 and 2008, Panin Syariah in 2012 and Maybank Syariah in 2011, 2013 and 2015. Some of the causes of inefficiency is technically a lack of financing at 38%, lack of operating revenues of 60%, too many third party funds and the cost of labor each by 1%.
