DAMPAK EKONOMI, SOSIAL DAN PSIKOLOGI HIV/AIDS PADA ORANG DENGAN HIV/AIDS (ODHA) DI KABUPATEN KEBUMEN

Abstract

This study aims to examine the economic, social and psychology of people with HIV / AIDS in Kebumen before and after HIV infection. Respondents in this study were people with HIV / AIDS who live in Kebumen as many as 92 respondents. Data was collected using a questionnaire. The results of the analysis conducted proved that there is a difference in the indicators on economic variables consisting of indicators of employment, income, expenses, working hours of people with HIV / AIDS before and after HIV infection. However, there is no difference in the status of work (working or not working), employment (agricultural or nonagricultural) and employment status (formal and informal) between before and after HIV / AIDS. In indicator of social variables consisting of communication, the intensity of worship with the community, the intensity of home visiting relatives, the intensity of the interaction with the family, the intensity of cooperation and the intensity of the invitation of indigenous people with HIV / AIDS before and after infected with HIV / AIDS is different. But indicators of the intensity of participation in the meeting of the environment does not change between before and after HIV infection. Psychological variables which consists of an indicator of stress levels, the level of frustration, anxiety level, the level of anger, denial rate, the level of shame, a sense of the level of bereaved people with HIV / AIDS before and after infected with HIV / AIDS is different.
