NAMBAHAN JAM PEMBELAJARAN DAN TRY OUT SEBAGAI STRATEGI PENINGKATAN HASIL UJIAN NASIONAL DI SMK NEGERI 3 PURWOKERTO KABUPATEN BANYUMAS

Abstract


The study is titled “The Adding of Time Scheduled And Try Out As Strategies For Improving The Result of National Examination in SMKN 3 Purwokerto-Banyumas Regency”. The aims of the research is to analyze the influences of the additional of time scheduled and try out toward the improvement of the mark of national examination in SMKN 3 Purwokerto-Banyumas Regency.
This is an expo facto quantitative research. The objects of this research are the students of SMKN 3 Purwokerto-Banyumas Regency year 2013-2014. The population is all the students of twelfth grade SMKN 3 Purwokerto year 2013-2014 divided into ten classes of 317 students. This research use Double Regretion Analyses. For English Sujects, it is used Quadran Regretion Analyses.
The results are: 1) The additional of time scheduled in Bahasa Indonesia and maths did not improve the mark but decrease the mark. For English subject, the additional of time schedule can improve students mark. But the influences given shows a parabole curve, it means the adding of time schedule in total 0-15.47 hours presents the decrease of national examination mark, and the adding of time schedule more than 15.47 hours presents the improvement of mark. 2) There is a significance influence of try out toward the improvement of national ecxamination mark in SMKN 3 Purwokerto-Banyumas for the subjects of Bahasa Indonesia, English, and Math. For improving the result of Bahasa Indonesia and Maths, the try out must be held minimally in twice but for English subject the try out is minimally three times.
