PERILAKU KONSUMEN MATERIALISTIK: PERSPEKTIF PEMBELIAN, COMPULSIVE BUYING, DAN ENVIRONMENTAL ATTITUDES
Abstract
The purposes of this study is to analyze the differences of materialistic and nonmaterialistic consumers attitudes about their purchasing, compulsive buying, and
environmental attitudes. The amount ofsample analyzed were 221 respondents, in
this case are students, for their purchasing, compulsive buying, and environmental
attitudes towards clothing products.
Researchers devided sample into two group, materialistic and non-materialistic
clusters, by using k-mean cluster analysis. Finding ofindependent t test indicated
that materialistic consumers have more purchasing of clothing and more
compulsive buying than non-materialistic consumers. But they have significantly
less mean in environmental attitudes.
