KNOWLEDGE SHARING DAN IMPLIKASINYA TERHADAP EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT (STUDI KASUS: FAKULTAS BISNIS DAN MANAJEMEN UNIVERSITAS WIDYATAMA)

Abstract


Knowledge has important role in the organization. Organizations that able to survive in the increasingly fierce competition and growing consumer demand cleaner is an organization whose members have sufficient knowledge. Therefore the importance of the role of knowledge management deployment required a good knowledge of every member. With the spread of knowledge, it is expected that members of the organization can be engaged with those organizations so that they contribute greatly to the organization because it was already part of the organization. The purpose of this study to determine how the application of knowledge sharing among teachers and whether teachers FBM Utama been (tied) engaged with their organization or not, and to know how the implications of the adoption of knowledge sharing on employee engagement FBM Utama Professors. The method used in this research is descriptive method with two variables, the independent variable (X) is a knowledge sharing and the dependent variable (Y) that is employee engagement . The primary data in this research were obtained from questionnaires distributed to 39 lecturer FBM Utama. While the statistical tests used in this research is the analysis of linear regression and coefficient of determination. From the research that has been done, it was found that the total score of the index variable is 4,25 which knowledge sharing were high, and for the variable employee engagement, earned a score index 3,50, which also included high enough. From the results of calculations with SPSS 17.0, obtained coefficient of determination between the independent variables with the dependent variable knowledge sharing employee engagement at 0,18. With a 95% confidence level, t test for variables generated knowledge sharing on employee engagement by 4,831, which means t count > t table ( 3,909 >1,68709) means that there is a significant effect. The conclusion of this study is that there is significant influence between knowledge sharing with employee engagement. The influence of knowledge sharing on employee engagement at 29,2%, which means lower category, while 70,8% are influenced by other factors than knowledge sharing were not examined in this study.
